ABOUT THE PROJECT:
I had the privilege of filming the wedding of Caleb Abernathy & Amy Yoder at the start of 2018. It was a very last-minute project - like, three days notice - but after talking with the bride-to-be about the details, I was excited to help! I knew I would be filming this wedding solo, so I prepared as best as I could by attending the rehearsal the evening before and drawing up a game plan.
On the big day, I coordinated with the photographer about who, what, where, and when we would be arranging shots and how we could work around each other during the ceremony and reception. I decided to shoot this wedding primarily in slow motion to emphasize the small, but important moments of the day, and I switched to real-time shooting due to the low lighting of the reception area.
By the next morning, I was so excited to get to work on this video, I finished it in a day! I'm very happy to have been able to capture this special day for the beautiful couple and immortalize it for them on film!
